OutLand is a raw, week-long immersion into the rhythms of a working Karoo farm for young men aged 16 to 19.
It's not a bootcamp.
It's not a course.
It's a challenge for two.
A full week on a real working Karoo farm. No big groups, no phones, no distractions. Just you and your mate - full adventure.
From herding animals to fixing fences, learn by doing and grow by stepping up on a remote farm in the Karoo.
This isn't about fixing anyone. It's for those ready to be tested. We don't shape boys into something they're not—we create space for them to become the best men they can be.
For growth-oriented teens with a solid foundation.
For those craving meaningful experiences that involve risk.
For those who want to push themselves by doing hard things.
"From age 16 to 19, I spent my school holidays with my best mate working on a sheep/game farm near Prieska in the Karoo. That experience continues to shape the man I am, to this day. The rawness, the risk, the real responsibilities — all of it left a lasting mark."
"We had to step up and take care of ourselves. There was adventure. There were close calls. There was real work that mattered. The confidence I gained helped define my path in life — including the career I chose."
Joshua is a founder, builder of ventures with purpose, and someone committed to helping people grow through real-world challenge. OutLand is a deeply personal project.
This experience isn't open to just anyone. All participants will need to apply and go through a selection process, as a pair.
If you think this isn't for you - or your son - it probably isn't.
Applications are open.
